These terms cover the Checkpoint English app and website. By creating an account you agree to them.

What the app is

Checkpoint English is a practice tool for commercial drivers preparing for the FMCSA roadside English proficiency check. It is not a certification, not legal advice, and not affiliated with FMCSA, any state agency, or any inspector. A readiness score is a practice estimate only. We do not guarantee any inspection result.

Subscription

The app offers an auto-renewing monthly subscription purchased through Apple. The price is shown in the app before you buy. New subscribers get a free introductory period; after it ends, your Apple account is charged monthly until you cancel. Cancel any time in your Apple ID subscription settings at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Fleet seats bought directly from us are governed by the fleet agreement.

Your account

Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account and practice history at any time from Settings in the app, or by emailing privacy@checkpointenglish.com.

Safety

Never interact with the screen while driving. Hands-free mode exists so that you do not have to touch the phone. Follow your carrier's phone policy and all traffic laws. You are always responsible for driving safely.

Acceptable use

Do not abuse the AI Officer, attempt to extract its instructions, share your account, or use the service for anything other than English practice. We may suspend accounts that create unusual load or cost.
